We're Hiring a Production Brewer!
We have a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the team as a Production Brewer at Saltaire Brewery. You would be joining a well-regarded regional brewery and would be joining the Production team in creating fantastic beers on our 67HL capacity kit. Following recent external investment, the brewery has exciting plans for growth in the immediate future and we’re looking for someone who is ambitious and driven to come with us on that journey. You'll join a team of 4 other Brewers, all with a passion for quality and innovation, and be a key part in helping us produce a wide range of beer styles into cask, bottle, keg and can.
Reporting to the Senior Brewer, this is a full-time production role which will involve working alongside 4 Brewers and 1 Brewery Operative to produce, transfer and package beers whilst focusing on quality and consistency.
Responsibilities include:
- Wort production
- Cellar management including dry hopping and yeast collection
- Beer transfers to conditioning/packaging facilities
- Lab work and QA checks
- Accurate data collection and record keeping
- Maintaining a clean work environment at all times
- Assisting the packaging and racking departments when required
Requirements:
- A passion for beer and a desire to learn about its production
- Good attention to detail
- Good time management
- At least C grade GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Legal right to work in UK
Desirables:
- Experience working in a commercial brewery at Brewer/Brewery Operative level
- Full driver’s licence
- Forklift licence
- Brewing qualifications such as IBD General Certificate in Brewing
