Saltaire Brewery x Brewdog Bradford
Creating Our First Rodeo with Brewdog Bradford.
Last week we saw the start of Collabfest, Brewdog’s worldwide collaboration festival. With beers from all over the world taking part, we were so excited to work with Brewdog Bradford on a collaboration beer. Running from October 20th to the 23rd, it is the largest event in Brewdog Bradford’s calendar.
Creating a fun and exciting beer, that was unique to anything we have done before was an incredibly worthwhile and creative process for our brewers. A real celebration of craft beer, we aimed to create something new and different from our core Saltaire Brewery range.
Rob Cooke, our development brewer was behind the recipe of Our First Rodeo. Creating a fruited double IPA, this beer has a huge hit of stone fruit flavour, with a hazy pale look and contains a burst of hops. Formerly part of Brewdog, Rob joined us a few years ago after his success at their head office in Ellon.
Being involved with Brewdog’s collabfest has been a great opportunity for us to be involved with a local bar, as a local brewery with it’s roots firmly in Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area.
Our First Rodeo is available in our Taproom from 27th October, at Brewdog Braford and in venues across the UK.
