Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality and attentiveness are key. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash register operations, handle payments accurately, and issue receipts
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods
• Keep up-to-date with menu offerings, promotions, and relevant health and safety policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hospitality, particularly as a bartender or in a similar role within a restaurant or bar environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent serving skills combined with strong communication abilities
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Good organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
• A personable attitude with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
