Bartender
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality and attentiveness are key. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments accurately, and issue receipts
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods
- Keep up-to-date with menu offerings, promotions, and relevant health and safety policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality, particularly as a bartender or in a similar role within a restaurant or bar environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills combined with strong communication abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
- A personable attitude with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Production Brewer
Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Now part of the Great British Drinks Company, Saltaire sits within a growing group dedicated to protecting and revitalising iconic regional breweries across the UK, combining heritage with long-term investment and growth.
Production Brewer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Brewer to join our brewing team. This role is responsible for ensuring our beers are brewed, packaged, and maintained to the highest quality standards across all stages of production.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of brewery operations, including brewing, fermentation management, packaging, quality control, and stock management. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Wort production using our 70HL Moeschle brewhouse system
- Monitoring and managing fermentation processes
- Conducting quality control checks throughout production
- Maintaining accurate brewing, packaging, and production records
- Cleaning and sanitising brewery and packaging equipment in line with hygiene standards
- Packaging beer into cask and keg formats
- Assisting with stock control and general brewery operations
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous commercial brewing and packaging experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy loads
- A full UK driving licence
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
- Experience using the BREWW brewery management system
- Forklift licence
- IBD qualifications
